Flu Vaccine a Sham

I've been against the flu "vaccine" ever since the first guy came up with the kooky idea. It's like trying to harness water. But every year they discover that the flu vaccine doesn't work, the experts are "shocked" and "surprised." From the New York Times:

A small but significant percentage of the main influenza virus causing illness this winter in Europe, Canada and the United States has a mutation that makes it resistant to the anti-influenza drug Tamiflu, the World Health Organization said Wednesday.

Scientists said they were surprised by the finding because they had believed that mutations of this type generally made the virus less potent and less easily spread among people. The predominant influenza virus circulating this winter is influenza A/H1N1. The Tamiflu-resistant form of the virus, known as influenza A(H1N1 H274Y), has been found with varying frequency in various areas of four European countries, Canada and the United States.

There are no immediate plans to recommend changes in the use of Tamiflu, which is also known as oseltamivir, officials from the W.H.O. and the United States said in interviews, because the incidence of the mutant virus is still small. Tamiflu is one of the antiviral drugs used to treat influenza in its early stages.

The mutation is present in a whopping 75% of viruses. That a huge failure rate, and would cripple any other business. But not the pharmaceutical business!

One thing I know won't change: Tamiflu and all those other globalist businesses aren't going to refund you any money for their useless vaccines, are they?

And the question begs to be asked: What is making the virus mutate so much and so quickly? Could it possibly be the vaccination spurning the mutations? "Scientists" say no. Of course not! Because that's where their money is!

The Injustice System

This may be "old" news (January 11) but it's really not. It's happened in the past and it will happen again and again. It's the act of legislating from the judiciary.

On January 11, 2008, Olympic medalist Marion Jones was sentenced to prison for using performance-enhancing drugs (steroids) during her participation in the Sydney Olympics and for lying about this use to federal investigators.

The judge was not going to let Jones get away with such gross immoralities as drug-use and perjury. Who does she think she is, Bill Clinton?! Jones was sentenced to six months in jail, despite begging the judge that she not be separated from her young sons. The judge remained adamant, and this is what alarms me. What was his reasoning?

"Athletes in society have an elevated status," Judge Karas. "They entertain. They inspire. And perhaps most importantly, [they serve] as role models for children around the world. When there is a widespread level of cheating, it sends all the wrong messages. People live with their choices, and the choice not to play by the rules has been compounded by the choice to break the law."

In a memorandum filed December 31 with the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, Jones' attorneys had argued that jail time was unnecessary because "any deterrent message to the public has already been sent."

But in court Friday, Karas said, "There are times when a sentence can have a deterrent factor."

This is what is so alarming. Nowhere in our judicial system are we to serve a sentence to teach others a lesson or, as the judge put it, as a "deterrent factor." This ruling goes far beyond the bounds of the legal system and this judge's authority. And it is arbitrary because other "celebrities" and politicians get away with this stuff all the time.

This ruling is a misuse of justice. What Jones did was wrong, illegal, and she broke the laws. She should be punished on her own merits, not on the "deterrent factor" of future athletes who are role models for children. What a crock! This judge should be removed from his position. This is a distortion of our justice system and makes mockery of it.

No Suicide Bombs?

Just wondrin'.

Ever since His Majesty, President Bush, invaded Iraq, overthrew their government, took over, and wreaked havoc on Iraqis... there's been no news of any suicide bombings in Israel. Where'd all those bombers all go? Are there no longer disgruntled Palestinians? Are there no more nails and gunpowder? Or did those bombings serve their purpose?

Just wondrin'.

Police Are More Equal Than The Rest of Us

Stupid Upstate senators Joseph Griffo and Roanne Destito just can't understand no, can they?

Last year, Griffo wanted to make it capital punishment to kill a police officer. It's not the death penalty for any thing else in New York-- you can kill your unborn baby, your wife, your husband, your grandma, your teacher-- that's all OK according to NYS law (you might get a fine or some jail time, though). But somehow police officers are more equal than everyone else.

That bill failed. The court struck it out, saying NY already has plenty of laws.

Griffo got Destito to join him, and now they are doing second-best: make it a felony to "use force" against a police officer. What "use force" means, I don't know. Like, if you "use force" to get his measly paws off your lady's behind, you're a felon?

State Sen. Joseph Griffo, R-Rome, and Assemblywoman RoAnn Destito, D-Rome, introduced the bill this month in the state Senate and the Assembly. It would amend the state's penal law to create the crime of aggravated harassment of a police officer, a Class E felony.

Oneida County Sheriff Daniel Middaugh said he will lobby in Albany for the passage of the bill.

“This is a breakthrough for law enforcement,” he said.

Felony charges were associated with the September attack on police officer Dzenan Sabanovic while he was responding to a call outside the James Street Market.

However, as the law stands now, unless there's a sign of a physical injury on the officer, there could be no felony charge, District Attorney Scott McNamara said.

“Had there been no allegation of a broken nose, that would have been a violation, and not even a crime,” McNamara said.

About a month ago, a New Hartford police officer was kicked in the groin during an incident, McNamara said. That, under current law, is not a felony, he said.

Under the proposed bill, any physical assault upon an on-duty officer - whether an injury was suffered or not - would be charged as a felony, McNamara said.

What does that mean?! Yeah, I'd say there would still have to be a sign of injury! Otherwise, it's the citizen's word against the officer's word. And not all officer's are sweet and good and honest. So this new bill is not only "protecting" the officer more, it's giving him almost dictatorial powers over the citizen. This is taking a right away from a citizen and granting one to an employee of the government (I feign shock).

There is a definite crime problem, this is true. And it is very, very hard to be a police officer today, it is true. And police officers who respect and obey the laws and properly enforce them are more than worthy of cooperation, this is true. But to create laws to create a new class of protected people is WRONG. I'm really sorry about Officer Lindsey, but we still have equal rights among us all in this state. If a man is going to choose to be a police officer, he is accepting risks that accompany his job. He should be protected to the fullest extent of our law, as it is protects us ALL.

Griffo's pandering to grieving widows is a dangerous precedent. Before you know it, we'll have laws that protect the grocer for one thing, the mailman for another thing, the pet store owner for another thing...

"May God prevent us from becoming 'right-thinking men' --that is to say, men who agree perfectly with their own police."

Our Main Export: Democracy

Actually, the United States is not a democracy. We are a representative republic-- a nation of "laws, and not of men." We're supposed to be, anyway. This is changing, and not for the better.

I'm so tired of hearing Pres. Bush's blather about "exporting democracy" all around the world. yadda yadda yadda.

But this thought hit me today. What happens when we've exported all our democracy?

We're so busy putting our noses in everyone's else's world affairs, and clamping down on our own freedoms and liberties here in our own country. So, what happens when we've made every other place a democracy and we have shackled ourselves into slavery under a dictator?

Looks like we might run out of democracy in the near future, if this keeps up. What, then?
